We’re delighted to be sharing our MODEL STORY interview with the fabulous Jeyda Azmi! She is from Australia and modelled for us last September.
MM: You went on a round-trip holiday after Mini Mode and ended up doing exciting things in LA. Tell us about it. How did the trip change your life? What did you learn?
Jeyda: After being invited to walk the runway for Mini Mode in September 2018 I began my round-trip holiday throughout Europe and USA. I was in awe of the beauty around us and met so many amazing people connecting on and off social media. Which made me even more inspired within my modelling career. I always saw photos of people in front of famous landmarks and when it was my turn I couldn’t believe it. I was so grateful for all the opportunities I had so far and what was to come. I realized my dream was even bigger than
I imagined. So many people said I should stay as job opportunities were being presented constantly. Once we arrived in LA I got to work with the best photographers and I could feel myself growing further. My life was already amazing but this trip expanded it, even more, something I will never forget.
Especially Disneyland what an adventure! Travel definitely changes you your eyes become wide open.
MM: What’s your favourite memory from Mini Mode?
Jeyda: So hard to chose as there were many magical things happening at once. I was happy to finally meet Amanda whom I modelled for in Australia for her funky brand Isossy. I also loved meeting all the models and designers from all over the world.
MM: Who was your favourite designer from the last show?
Jeyda: Good question as all of them were so cool. They all had something different to offer. I walked for Koh Mabby and Coco Chic and I loved Coco chic’s inspiration for their multicoloured dress I wore which were colours of sea. I loved Koh Mabby’s creative spirit with the splattered paint on really comfortable dresses.
